Galileo 14.1.5

Galileo 14.1.5 was an incredible experience. Being a 24-Hour Jukebox musical, the writers were faced with the unique challenge of discovering what songs would best serve the story we wanted to tell- all within the 7-hour timeframe. The most rewarding part for me is taking songs that could stand alone as theatrical experiences, and adding stage directions and character dialogue to them to give them the context needed to really make them shine. Being a 14-Hour Show, the production was quite rushed and frantic, and I found myself wishing I had been there (and been awake) to help the director keep track of time. Lesson learned: always have a Stage Manager (or somebody) to keep you on track and keep the project moving.
