The Micast Galas 2022-26

The highlight of my undergrad years as a theater major was Students' Stage, a student-run theater club dedicated to extended opportunities for performance, tech, and design beyond the sphere of influence controlled by the Theater Department. I had the opportunity to direct, act, design, and write for shows while I was a part of the club in my four years. Not to mention, I also served as club president for two of them. The Miscast Galas in particular allowed me to embrace roles that might not ordinarily be offered to be as a non-binary performer. The selections I chose each year reflected my preference for rock'n'roll music, rebellious characters, and a need for social change.
